The Way To Heaven
Do you know for sure that you are going to be with God in Heaven? How you can know for sure that you have eternal life and will go to be with God in Heaven?
I John 5:13 states…
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
DID YOU KNOW THAT...
Eternal Life Is A Free Gift!
Romans 6:23 says…
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Heaven is a GIFT, like any other gift, it is not earned or deserved, no amount of personal effort, good works or religious deeds can earn a place in Heaven just for YOU!
Ephesians 2:8,9…
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.”
GUESS WHAT?
Man Is A Sinner
In Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Man Cannot Save Himself.
The Bible says “Be therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.” - Matthew 5:48
INSPITE OF OUR SIN...
God Is Merciful
And doesn't want to punish us because of 1 John 4:8 “... for God is love.” and in Jeremiah 31:3 “... I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.”
God Is Just and therefore must punish sin. Exodus 34:7 reads... Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Ezekiel 18:4 states...
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
The Word of God promises in Romans 10:9-11...
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
